Carfair Display Terms & Conditions

I agree that I have left the above mentioned motor vehicle with Canberra Car Fair for the purpose of displaying my car for sale and inspection at their premises.
I understand that Canberra Car Fair will make keys available to prospective buyers and allow the engine to be started. Before the Car Fair makes keys available to buyers, car fair staff will require the photographic identification of the prospective buyer to be held as security until the key is returned and I understand that I am to be present for a test drive unless displaying under the premium option.
I agree that I must be present for any sale of the motor vehicle.
I agree that the Canberra Car Fair is a public market and that no responsibility can be taken for any loss or damage occurring to vehicles while on display at the Canberra Car Fair. I agree it is my responsibility to have the vehicle insured to my satisfaction, should any loss or damage occur.
I understand that it is my responsibility to remove any valuables from the vehicle, i.e. stereos & stereo faces, CD's, log books etc and lock my vehicle before leaving.
I agree that Canberra Car Fair staff may move my vehicle within the premises of the Car Fair should this be necessary.
I acknowledge that vehicles left on site after 5pm Sunday will be left locked for after-hours collection. Note: No keys are left onsite.
Identification for the return of my keys is the receipt issued by Canberra Car Fair, or the production of my current drivers licence. I understand that if this is produced the person will be handed the keys and allowed to remove the vehicle.
I undertake that if I am unable to collect my vehicle myself, I will give my receipt to the person/s authorised to collect my vehicle, or inform Canberra Car Fair of the name of the person authorised to collect my vehicle on my behalf.
I hereby declare that I am not involved in motor vehicle trading as determined by the Sale of Motor Vehicle Act 1977.
I agree that the above information is correct as required by Section 17 of the Sale of Motor Vehicle Act 1977
